An extraordinarily rare Christmas card sent and signed by Giuseppe Farina in 1952. Depicted on the left page is an Alfa Romeo Tipo 159 Formula 1 racing car in which Farina won the 1951 Grand Prix at Spa, Belgium. The card appears to be produced by the Alfa Romeo factory, and the printing date is 1951 (Farina has dated it 9/1/52 in ink). The penned sentiments express warm wishes with many returns. Card has an embossed fold along center line, as it was meant to be sent through the post. Attractively framed and overmatted.
Dimensions: Card 9" x 5". Frame 12" square. A remarkable example of early Formula One racing history that could be the centerpiece of any collection.
