A development of the Ferrari 340MM (Mille Miglia), the 375MM incorporated the Type 102 Formula One twelve cylinder engine, producing around 340 horsepower, and became a formidable weapon in Ferrari's long-distance racing program.

Our 1/24 scale MG Models version is chassis #0322 AM, piloted by Giuseppe Farina and Mike Hawthorn to an overall win in the 1953 24 Hours of Spa. The car also garnered fifth place overall at that year's Le Mans competition but took first in class. The curvaceous Pininfarina coachwork reveals a subtle hint of the brutal purposefulness of the racing drive train.

The model is exceptionally well detailed, with all the vent openings picked out precisely with black paint, a liberal usage of photo-etched parts (hood pins and straps), and correct period tire stenciling. The headlamps, covers, fog lights and tail lights all are constructed with etched, translucent lenses for an added touch of realism. Top it all off with several coats of Ferrari racing red paintwork, and you have a standout piece, ready for the display cabinet or bookshelf. Model is supplied with original base, plaque, plastic cover, and outer box. Absolutely mint, undisplayed condition. Very rare item in this scale.
