This factory-issued Lancia Flaminia parts book is a remarkable find indeed. Published in 1965-66, this manual is a staggering 800-plus pages, and covers all the Flaminia model types: Berlina, Coupe, GT (Touring), Sport (Zagato), Convertible, GTL (Touring), and Super Sport (Zagato).
The book is divided by major component systems; engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, body, interior, heating, and trim. It is a true reference masterpiece, as nearly every nut and bolt on the Flaminias are listed, cross-referenced, or illustrated.
Each page is divided into four languages as well; Italian, English, French and German. The accompanying drawings are amazing examples of the technical illustrator's art. Oftentimes, the exploded views are actually signed by the individual who drew them.
The book is in absolutely pristine condition; no rips, tears, or workshop stains. It would almost be a shame to use it in a garage. The plastic and board cover is literally bolted to the massive stack of pages with three long, bronze double-sided screws. The cover is completely intact, showing no cracks or tears.
The manual measures 11 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches, and is 2 1/4 inches thick. For the Lancia restorer, it will be an invaluable resource. For the Lancia enthusiast, an amazing barn find, and for the collector of European automobilia, the veritable needle in the haystack. Incredible!
