Twenty years ago, the Porsche factory commissioned famed Swiss watchmakers Eterna to produce a line of high-end timepieces that were only available from authorized Porsche dealerships. Several variants were offered, from automatics to ana-digi quartz models. The very rare piece illustrated here is obviously the quartz version, and is in extraordinarily good condition.
The stainless steel case features a screw-down crown, 50 meter water resistance, screwed-in case back, 1/100 second chronograph accuracy, and four function buttons. The black dial incorporates two LCD windows for timing and date functions, minute and hour hands, a 1/100 second sweep hand, chrono second hand, 30 minute counter, and 12 hour counter. The crystal is perfect and scratch-free. The stainless case is also remarkably scratch-free and would rate at 97/100 condition. It appears largely unworn. The linked bracelet is new, unworn, and unsized. The double security clasp is marked in the same '911' script that appears on the face and case back. The minute and hours hands are luminous, as are the main minute indicators.
The case is approximately 40mm in diameter, not including the crown protectors, and measures approximately 50mm lug to lug. The watch is supplied with its bespoke display box, instruction manual, outer box, and Porsche product number sleeve. An absolute 'Barn find' for the avid Porsche collector and enthusiast!
